Seniors Rights Service is overseen by a voluntary governing board. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified, experienced, passionate, human rights and social justice centered individuals to join our Board of Directors.

We seek individuals with a successful track record within Not for Profit, Disability, Health or Aged Care sectors and welcome applicants that demonstrate an appreciation of the issues impacting older people. The range of skills we are seeking include governance, financial management, legal, advocacy, human rights, lived experience as an older person or carer, strategic leadership and communications.
- The board is responsible for the overall governance, management and strategic direction of the organisation.
- The board meets six times per calendar year and has sub-committees including a Finance Audit and Risk Committee.
- Terms for Directors are three years with a maximum period of nine years.
