Mardi Gras Fair Day 2020
Seniors Rights Service attended the official opening of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, hosting our stall at Mardi Gras Fair Day on Sunday February 16th.
Held at Sydney’s Victoria Park in Camperdown, thousands of revellers joined us for a colourful day in the sun to start off Sydney’s Mardi Gras festivities. There was everything for everyone – whether you wanted to shop for festival outfits, satiate your inner foodie, get your face painted or join in on sports games, Fair Day hosted countless stalls to satisfy every reveller.
Seniors Rights Service was joined by other organisations such as ACON and Inner City Legal Service in providing visitors with access to information about health and wellbeing, resources, support and community legal centre services for those within the LGBTIQ+ community.
Our staff had a lot of fun at Fair Day, and we can’t wait to see you next year!
