The United Nations Human Rights Council is developing a new legally binding agreement to strengthen the protection of the human rights of older people.
Organisations were invited to contribute their views as part of this process and Seniors Rights Service has provided a submission outlining what must be included from the outset.
Our submission highlights key principles such as intersectionality, meaningful access to justice and a strong gender based perspective.
It also reflects the values that have guided our work for more than 40 years – and that will continue to shape our future.
