Seniors Rights Service had the privilege of hosting the book launch of Richard McCullagh’s new Elder Law textbook Australian Elder Law: Accommodation, Agency and Remedies in Australia. This book is intended to assist the range of experts working within the expanding field of elder law by detailing how to identify and tackle important legal issues faced by older Australians and their families.
The book was launched by Darryl Browne, Chair, Law Council of Australia’s Elder Law and Succession Committee.
Seniors Rights Service, in conjunction with Thomson Reuters, hosted the launch at their Surry Hills office where a number of stakeholders were in attendance. This included a number of referral solicitors with experience in elder law, as well as several interested community members.
