Last month we ran another Info Bingo session – this time in Dubbo with over 200 people attending the almost day-long event. Hosted by the Honorable Dr Kay Patterson AO and Seniors Rights Service CEO Russell Westacott the day was designed to empower, entertain and educate seniors of their rights. Activities ranged from skits, talks from our experts and of course, games of bingo. A large percentage of participants filled out evaluation forms – 75%. “They loved everything: the talks by Russell and Kay, the games, the skits. They said it was well organised, fun and informative. The best responses though were the ones who said how good it was to get out, meet up with friends and be in company … To be honest in all my years I have never seen such universally positive feedback” said Margaret Crothers, Advocate/Educator and Regional Coordinator.
We will be running more Info Bingo events in regional NSW later this year.
